LED Unplugged
An evening of stripped down music and dance. Join us for LED's annual fundraiser and your only opportunity to experience a new work created exclusively for this event featuring brand new choreography performed to acoustic versions of beloved songs from LED's past productions.
Order of Events
6:00 - Arrival & Hors D'oeuvres
- Enjoy hors d'oeuvres provided by Wild Plum catering and settle in for the performance.
7:00 - Performance & Live Creation
- The performance begins with a short new work created exclusively for this event. Brand new choreography will be performed to never before heard acoustic versions of beloved songs from LED's past productions.
- After the new work, Andrew and Lauren will bring you into their creative process with a live creation. Andrew will improvise a new song based on audience suggestions, and Lauren will choreograph new dance to that song right before your eyes. This is a rare intimate look into the process behind the LED's creations.
8:00 - Drinks & Mingling
- Grab a glass of wine or beer and get to know Lauren, Andrew, and the rest of LED's artists.

With a namesake that sparks groundbreaking innovations and breakthroughs, we pride ourselves on serving as a playground for artistic expression - a cultural and creative center, a dance company, a musical project, a film studio.
Founded in 2015 and proudly based in Boise, Idaho, LED is shaped by the artistic vision of husband and wife co-founders, Lauren Edson and Andrew Stensaas. Lauren and Andrew are intimately involved in the creative production of each artistic work, building each piece from the ground up, and relying on a network of extremely talented artists, dancers, musicians, designers, and technicians to bring each creative experience to life.
Recently named by Dance Magazine as “25 to Watch” for 2020 and described by the Seattle Times as “a feat of pyrotechnics and an important addition to the arts scene in the Northwest," LED's performances have wowed sold-out audiences all over the country and their unique approach to art making is helping put Boise on the map as a cultural hub.
